Since childhood we heard a lot about stories of our National Symbols...Somehow we remember few and some are like, ok it is as it is... We are constantly debating what symbols represent our collective ideals.

India, the birth place of legends. This country is the one which is of oldest civilization. Having largest democratic platform is known for its unique identity and heritage. India is a cradle of various religions and culture. On the contrary: debate and reinvention are imperative for democracy. This is clearly reflected in the various Indian National Symbols.

National Symbols play a vital role in making the identity of our country, bringing the diverse cultures together and binding them in a single string.

So the best way to respect a national symbol is to embrace the moments when symbols force us to re-evaluate the meaning of being Indian.

SGR Knowledge Foundation in association with Chitnavis Centre brings to you an Informative and Interactive Session on "National Symbols" On 28th April 2018, By Shri. Sharad Ponkshe. It is an opportunity to understand a diffent dimension of what we have learnt so far.

Sharad Ponkshe is an eminent personality in the world of Marathi theater, Films and Television series. He is an orator and has his lecture series on various topics related to Indian Legacy and Legends. His talks on Swatantravir Savarkar and Natthuram Godse have gained many accolade and appriciation form the audiances and various organizations. National symbols are now a days matter of concern as every individual interprets it as per his/her understanding and or experiance. Whereas, it needs a support of an expert to pinch the thought that what these symbols are and why they are National Symbols. We can always say that National symbols deserve respect not because they are static representations of unchanging ideals.
