Health Talk Series

Having a healthy body and mind is very important for overall well-being. By adapting a few healthy lifestyle changes we can significantly improve our health. The health of an individual is not something that is to be neglected. Having good health is directly related to leading a productive life. But most of the time we avoid discussing many things and our busy lifestyles don't allow us to get small information too.

This Health talk series is initiated in association with Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, Nagpur (SRWC). SRWC is an autonomous institute with an “A Grade “in NACC, is affiliated to S.N.D.T Women’s University, Mumbai. The college is a part of Raisoni Group of Institutions (RGI), which is one of the premiere groups in the field of education in Central India and is known for its committed efforts towards catering quality education to the aspirants and providing them with the suitable industrial opportunities. SRWC being part of such an esteemed group always strives hard for excellence.

The responsibility to create future leaders who are capable of bringing in change and innovation in businesses and society as a whole, rests with the institution. SRWC is an institution that aims to create such young and talented leaders. With the best faculty and curriculum that matches industry standards, it strives to create a holistic learning environment that inspires the students to think beyond the ordinary and rise to the challenges of the modern world.

SGRKF and SRWC Jointly intend to encourage participants of this series to try new behaviors or continue positive behaviors.

Health talks are a means to share information with the community, and this approach can support and complement more participatory approaches. These health talks are designed to share and pass on health information.The purpose of a health talk is to share current health information, discuss benefits of optimal behaviors and how to overcome common challenges or barriers to proceed for the healthy practices.
