Vinita Pandey describes herself as a gallivanter, a dreamer......a bibliophilist who believes that life is best lived in the moment and that an extra dose of enthusiasm never hurt anybody.

She was educated at various Army Public Schools across India after which she went on to pursue graduation at Presidency College Madras followed by a stint at Delhi University. Her innate passion for music took her to the esteemed Gandharva Mahavidyalaya from where she pursued a diploma in Hindustani Classical Music. A serendipitous auditioning at All India Radio led her to join them as an announcer and Radio Jockey at the Western Music Section for a number of years.

She soon found her calling with teaching and has put in almost 15 years of teaching English at various reputed schools across India.

Her bohemian soul soon led her to explore another trajectory ; that of an entrepreneur which led to the genesis of Floe, The English Academy, and Book Talk, The Book Cafe both born out of love and passion to nurture and appreciate the English Language with all its nuances.
